Classy Rough

It couldn't have gotten sweeter than this. About a mile away from the resort was the Trump International Golf Course. This is where they hold the Puerto Rico Open every year. It's not Masters but an up-and-comer nonetheless. Either way, the conditions are unbelievable. I've never played such a well manicured course in my life. Thanks Mr. Trump for keeping a gentleman's game in your thoughts. Also, lower the greens fees your greedy bastard! Also, if you're wondering, that is where my approach shot landed.

Nature Playing Tricks

Here are two other pics from our day at Old San Juan. Is it just me or is that lamp post poking fun?

Nice Catch

If you've ever been to Old San Juan, you're quite aware of the array of unique colors and contrasts surrounding. This is the only place that I've been to - so far - that can actually get away with it. This town is the perfect product of its culture (bright pastel colors, rustic architecture, savory aromas, and upbeat music).

I quickly snagged this shot while Amrita wasn't looking. My good buddy Sean always told me to keep your camera close to your eye as you'll never know what you can capture. Well Sean, I think I got a good one here...the girl that is.

Puerto Rico...Puerto Rico!

I know I know...it's been way too long since my last post. That's what happens when you spend the last 5 months couped-up in an office. Would you rather have pictures of my white board? Nonetheless, Amrita layed the smack down and said it's about time we go on vacation. I couldn't argue which brings me to my next couple posts on our vacation to Puerto Rico!

We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The weather was gorgeous, the water was warm and the golf was plenty (see the beautiful grass above :)

Our abode was in Rio Grande which is roughly 30 miles from the airport. It's a quiet little town; mostly consumed by 3-4 resorts. The resort we stayed at - Gran Melia - sat right by the water and had a pool the size of which gave the Atlantic Ocean a run for its money. The posted pic was taken just outside our balcony at sunset (i know it's cliche) but I wanted to show as each has its own character. I've never seen one where you can clearly identify a crisp siloutte of the sun.
